Over 15 years, I’ve worked across nearly every web platform that has come and gone, from hand-coded HTML builders to Wix, Weebly and beyond. Through all of it, WordPress has remained my platform of choice and for good reason.

I’ve been designing websites for over 15 years, long enough to have seen this industry transform completely, more than once. I started back when building a website meant rolling up your sleeves and adjusting HTML code by hand. Since then, I’ve worked across nearly every platform the web has thrown at us and I’ve kept learning through all of it.

That experience matters. It means I don’t just know how to build a website, I know why certain decisions matter, what separates a site that performs from one that doesn’t and how to build something that will still serve your business well years from now. The internet keeps changing and I change with it.

About ten years ago, I expanded that work by launching Anchored Media Marketing, my digital marketing company. The two businesses are deeply connected, because a great website without a smart marketing strategy behind it is only half the equation. Web design and digital marketing work hand in hand and having deep experience in both means I can build you a site that doesn’t just look good, but is genuinely ready to support your marketing efforts from day one.

When I’m not working on websites, I’m usually outside, on a lake or at the beach, traveling somewhere new, or spending time with my kids, grandkids, and the people who matter most to me. I have a lifelong love of nature that started in childhood, I still have a large collection of semi-precious gemstones that I’ve been adding to for years. And if you ask anyone who really knows me, they’ll tell you I love to smile, laugh, dance and have fun. Life’s too short not to.
